Performer

I'm a founding member founding member of Invoke, a folk-infused quartet whose repertoire features original compositions by the group and works by exciting young American composers. Invoke won First Prize at the 2018 M-Prize and Coltman competitions, and at the 2015 Savvy Musician in ACTION competition. We were selected as Young Professional String Quartet in Residence at the University of Texas, Artists in Residence at Strathmore, Wintergreen Performing Arts Fellowship Quartet, and have held residency positions at the University of South Carolina, Interlochen, and the University of Maryland.

Some of my performance highlights include sharing the stage with members of Orpheus, Eighth Blackbird, and the St. Lawrence String Quartet. I've also appeared with the contemporary ensembles The Radical Sound and Great Noise, and performed and recorded with artists Marian McLaughlin, Wanda Perkins (as Wind Divine), Phonic Wrinkle, and many more.

Studio Artist

I've got plenty of studio experience, playing everything from bluegrass to contemporary opera to hair metal! Some album credits include Whisky Meyers Tornillo, Taking Back Sunday Amphetamine Smiles, and Chris Brown Fan of a FanCheck them out:

In addition to studio session work, I also do remote, professional-grade recording out of my home studio in Austin, Texas. Super quick turnarounds and great sound! I can perform pre-existing arrangements or create original arrangements, in any style.

Collaborator

Karl, Geoff, Zach and I founded genre-busting string group Invoke back in 2013, and since then we've traveled all over the country performing, teaching, and connecting audiences from a variety of backgrounds. Invoke is currently based out of Austin, Texas where we recently finished a two-year residency at the University of Texas.

In addition to Invoke's schedule, I play with artists around Austin and beyond, including Austin Unconducted, Forever Tango, the Austin Symphony, and more. I've shared the stage with Aretha Franklin, Yo-Yo Ma, Never Shout Never, and more.
